Growing out your hair can be frustrating! It takes minutes to cut it into a gorgeous bob, but months or even years to grow it into long hair. Here are some ways to help your hair grow faster.

Eat clean
Your skin and hair can show a lot about your inner health. When you are eating lots of processed foods, sugar and salt and drinking energy drinks and coke, your hair and skin will suffer. Try and eat things that aren't in a box or a bottle. The closer they are to their original state, the better. Make sure your plate is colourful with green and red veggies along with bright yellows and purple fruits. And remember to drink lots of water.

Vitamins
Vitamins can be great for people who are missing out due to food intolerance or lifestyle factors. You can either use one that is specific for hair/skin/nails, or a multivitamin that has the vitamins you need for healthier hair, skin and nails. Prenatal vitamins are also great!

Massage your scalp
Not only does this feel nice, it helps to stimulate blood flow to your scalp.

Stop, or limit damage to your hair
If you give up dying your hair and using curlers/dryers/irons for 30 days you will notice a big difference to the health of your hair. Even giving up one of these will make a big difference. If its too much to stop for a month, try and give your hair the weekend to rest. Instead embrace your natural curl, or love your straight locks.

Use hair bands without metal
Your hair can tangle on the metal part of your hair tie, so buy ones without the metal for a tangle proof pony tail.

If all else fails, or you get bored waiting, try hair extensions. Permanent or clip ins - there's one for every budget!
