Mirenesse January "Make Up" Glamm Box

Sunday 13 January 2013

I blogged about the skincare glamm box yesterday and today I'm letting you know what was in the make up box for January.

The skincare box contained 4 samples, but the make up box has only 3 items although one is full size.

Here's what's in the box....

Pearl Crush Creasless Shadows "Akoya Pearls"

I love their eye shadows and have wore the "Keshi Pearls" for most of 2012. They have 6 colours available in the collection and this is a really gorgeous nude set. It contains a lovely nude base, an apricot middle shade and a golden bronze. I'm so excited to try the colours out.

These retails for $24.50 for VIPs or $35.00 for non VIPs.

This is actually on their flash sale (under gifts) for only $19.95 and it also includes another eye shadow palette. I'm not sure how long it's on sale for so click here to get it.

Magic Touch Foundation (10g)

I actually got the full size version of this in my VIP December Box. I adore this and have worn it nearly everyday since I got it. This mini size will go in my travel bag, so I don't have to bring the full size for small trips.

It has this beautiful botanical smell (that may be over powering for some people), but I love it. You feel like you're getting skincare in your make up. It leaves your skin glowy and beautiful. If you have oily skin, make sure you apply a pressed powdered over it to stop it looking greasy. If you're interested in their foundations, the mini sizes are great! You get to try it out for a few days without wasting a lot of money.

This retails for $11.16 for VIPs or $13.95 for non VIPs.

Eclipse Age Defence Daily Face & Neck Mineral Balm (1g)

I'm excited to try this, as one of my new years beauty resolutions is to apply sunscreen everyday. I love the Sun Sense Daily Face sunscreen since it's a matte formula. I'm not sure what this is like, if it's greasy or if it's a matte formula.

This protects you from UVA and UVB rays. It's also an anti aging balm, that helps to smooth out wrinkles. You can use it as a primer underneath foundation. It's an oil free formula that is also sweat and water proof.

They sell a clear or tinted version. The one in this box is the tinted version. It will be interesting to see how it suits my pale skin.

This retails for $8.76 for VIPs or $10.95 for non VIPs.

So overall, there is $44.42 worth of value for VIPs or $59.90 for non VIPs.

I like this box. I love the nude colours of the eye shadow and it's nice having a travel size version of the foundation. Even though the sunscreen is a very small sample, I'm looking forward to seeing how effective it is. I love that even though its a small sample, it still comes with the sponge to apply it with. If you only like the eyeshadow, then save your money on this box and buy the eyeshadow deal where you get 2 colours for $20!

What do you think about this box? Would you get the box, or just purchase the 2 eyeshadows for $20?
XO
