Decoding The Label: Panthenol

Sunday 27 May 2012

Panthenol is an ingredient found in a lot of cosmetics. It can be found in make up, skincare and haircare. It's derived from plants and is the alcohol form of Vitamin B5 (also known as Pantothenic Acid).

In haircare it will help moisturise your hair strands, add volume and shine. It also can help improve the texture of hair.

In skincare it penetrates your lower skin layers and moisturises and plumps the skin.  It makes it feel soft and smooth.
