Rave: Palmer's Dark Chocolate & Cherry Lip Butter

Tuesday 30 October 2012

I normally like to have glossy lips, and when I'm at work I like to either wear a clear or tinted lip balm. Trying to make sure my lipstick is flawless is impossible when you're busy. Also I talk a lot at work, so lip products have a tendency to come off quickly. This is why I love the easy of a lip balm.

One of my favourite clear lip balms at the moment is the Palmer's Dark Chocolate & Cherry Lip Butter. It smells amazing. It reminds me of either Cherry Ripe or a Black Forrest Cake. And luckily this tastes as good a it smells too! I know you're not supposed to lick your lips, but its a bad habit of mine that I just can't seem to stop.

It's the lip balm I reach for when I my lips are feeling really dry or chapped. It works so quickly to make them hydrated, soft and smooth again. I like to apply it in the morning and night to keep my lips soft for daytime lipstick.

I also love to apply this over a matte lipstick, to make it glossy and give it more of an impact.

The packaging is great because it comes in a tube. I HATE pots for lip products due to the fact that it's so unhygienic. The tube makes it easy to apply, especially when you're on the run.

It contains vitamin E which is a great antioxidant. And of course it wouldn't be a Palmer's product without Cocoa Butter!

They also have a Dark Chocolate & Peppermint Lip Butter available.

What's your go to lip balm for soft, kissable lips?

  1. This is my favourite lipgloss and only seems to be randomly available. I saw 5 in stock at my local priceline so I bought them all today!!

I wish more lip products were cherry flavoured!

  2. I have almost picked this up twice but put it back because I already have so many lip products! Sounds like a great product, I think I'd like the mint one :)
