Sanctuary Spa "Polishing Hot Cloth Cleanser" Review

Saturday 6 April 2013

I've already talked about my love for Sanctuary Spa's "Therapist's Secret Facial Oil" here last week. Today I'm bring you another great Sanctuary Spa product.

The Hot Cloth Cleanser has been compared to the Liz Earle "Cleanse and Polish" cleanser, but I haven't used the Liz Earle one, so I personally can't compare them.

One of the great things about this product, and all Sanctuary Spa products, is that it's made to bring the spa home to you.

Now the name is slightly misleading because you should NEVER apply a hot cloth to your face (it will do more damage than good). But heat (at a warm temperature) will help to open your pores.

You can use this cleanser 2 ways. Either as a spa cleanser, otherwise I just used it as a regular cleanser when I was in a hurry.

To use it as more of a spa cleanser...

Remove make up, by using an oil cleanser. I love the MooGoo Oil Cleansing Method Cleanser.

Heat up the muslin cloth (provided in the pack), or a face towel, with warm water.

Massage the cleanser into your skin using circular movements for a minute. Work upwards for an anti aging boost.

Clean off the cleanser with the warm cloth/towel.

To close pores, apply a cold cloth to your face for 30 seconds.

Even though it's a cream cleanser, I never felt like it was heavy. It didn't break me out either, unlike other cream cleansers I've tried. It felt moisturising but never heavy.

I absolutely love this cleanser and it's in my top 5 must have cleansers.

You can purchase Sanctuary Spa products at Priceline in Australia, or from Sanctuary Spa's official site for UK residents.
XO

PS Sanctuary Spa also have a oil cleanser in their range too.
