I've never been a big fan of lip liners until recently. When I first tried them in my teens, I tried the hard pencil variety. They were difficult to use as they weren't smooth on the lips and it was hard to do a straight line.
Luckily over the last decade, lip liners have come a long way. I prefer soft pencils like the Natio lip liner. It's soft and so easy to use. It's really fool proof! Lip liners have gotten a bad name since the 90s when women lined their lips with a dark lip liner and had nude lips. But lip liner can completely transform your lips. If you have uneven lips, then a lip liner can give you the illusion of more even lips.
What's also fantastic about this type of soft liner is that you don't need to sharpen them like you do a classic lip pencil.
I love this lip liner to not only create a barrier to stop my lipstick feathering at the edges, but also to help give my colour long lasting results.
