Haul: Revlon Myer GWP (April/May 2014)

Monday 5 May 2014

Revlon often do amazing gift with purchases. They have a mixture of products that are suitable for different skintones, ages and make up looks.

Currently Myer have a wonderful GWP that is not only affordable (spend $39.95 for more to qualify) but you also get to choose your own lipstick and nail polish shade.

I like being able to choose the colours (out of a selection) as it stops me having a draw full of colours that I won't ever use.

To qualify for the GWP I bought...

Nearly Naked Liquid Foundation in "Ivory"

I've been loving using my Nearly Naked foundation over the last month or two and mixing it in with my Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation. They work so well together. Healthy Mix is on the dewy side, so mixing it in with the Nearly Naked foundation gives it more of a matte effect.

I've purchased a lighter shade for winter.

I've previously reviewed it here.

Originally I was going to get the Colorburst Matte Balm "Shameless," but then I started swatching their Super Lustrous lipsticks.

I ended up buying "Fuchsia Shock." It's a gorgeous glossy pink that you can wear subtle or vibrant.

In the GWP there was...

Photoready BB Cream in Light Medium 30ml
Photoready 16 Hour Eye Shadow Quad in "Siren"
Photoready Kajal Intense Eyeliner + Brightener in "Carbon Cleopatra"
Cosmetics Bag

There were 3 Parfumerie Scented nail polish colours to choose from as well as 3 of the Colorburst Balms.

There was a purple, bright pink and baby pink to choose from with the nail polishes. I picked the pale pink, which is called "Pink Pineapple."

For the lip colour there was 1 Colorburst Matte Balm and 2 Colorburst Lacquer colours. I choose the bright pink matte, which is called "Showy."

Will you be picking up this GWP? Do you like the idea of picking colours in a GWP?
Amy, XO

  1. This is a great GWP, I really should try to resist....I love how you can custumise it, and the cosmetic bag looks gorgeous too!

  2. I thought about getting this, but I hate the Revlon BB cream so I just decided to give it a miss. I don't like getting GWPs if I'm not going to love everything in it.

  3. This looks like a really awesome GWP, and it's pretty cool that you can pick your own shades. I've very tempted to pick it up, I really want to try the Nearly Naked foundation and powder!
