New Products I'm Trialling: September 2014 + Would you be interested in seeing FOTD posts?

Wednesday 3 September 2014

Being out of the blogging game meant that there were many missed opportunities to blog about some amazing products that I've bought or was sent by PR companies.

Some of these products have been out for a while, while others have only been released in the last month.

To make up for missing out, I'm using September as a fun trial month where every day there will be something new to try.

Today I'm trialling the new Max Factor Skin Luminizer Foundation, theBalm Instain blush, and Covergirl Bombshell ShineShadow. While tomorrow I'll be testing out one of the Colour Theory Duo eyeshadows along with the Natio Blush & Bronze Palette, Max Factor Xperience Sheer Gloss Balm and Max Factor 2000 Calorie Waterproof Mascara.

Would you like to see Face Of The Day posts featured regularly on the blog? Let me know in the comments :)

Is there anything in particular that you've loved and would recommend me try first? Or are there any products that you want to see a review on?
Amy, XO

PS I hope this doesn't come across as a braging post!! I'd love to hear if you're interested in seeing a post like this monthly (normally there would be less products but since I'm 3 months behind on blogging there's a lot of products I haven't tried) or if you would prefer a post at the end of the month with the products that I've tried and my thoughts (both good or bad) on them.

*I was kindly sent this for consideration. All thoughts and views are completely my own, and are always 100% honest. See my disclosure policy here.

    1. Thanks Kate :) I normally don't do FOTDs as I'm usually busy trying to get Adeline ready, but I love reading them.

  2. I'm curious as to how the Natio Palette and the Covergirl liquid shadows perform. I've found the Rimmel Colour Rush to be among the nicest of the plethora of lip crayons that are out at the moment. I've been using their Keep Mauving as a 'nude' to balance out while I try out some darker and brighter eye colours than usual. Looking forward to seeing what you think!

    1. I've used the original Natio palette and it's GORGEOUS. This one is more cool toned and is more pink so I think it will be even better since it suits my skin rather than warm tones.

    1. Thanks Sarah :)

I'm going to be doing a couple of posts on the Rae Morris brushes. They're expensive and I did a lot of research before buying them so I hope to include everything that I wish I knew all in one place :)

    1. I'm being a bit over ambitious, right!!! hahaha I know it's a bit hard to trial everything but some products have multiple colours, so even if I can just try one colour I'll be able to try out a LOT of things :)

Looking forward to your reviews and makeup/nail looks. I have that same The Balm Blush and a little goes a very long way, so watch that, it's very easy to over do it, beautiful shade though! xx

LOL, okay now that I've calmed down somewhat from my high, I would LOVE to see your thoughts on the brushes, and I'd also love to hear what you think of those Max Factor Colour Elixir Lipsticks!

I have the Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet lipstick, which I picked up overseas earlier in the year, and it's fantastic! Love the colours you chose.

I'd love to see FOTD posts! I like looking at people's makeup. :)

    1. Hahahaha I had the same response when the post man dropped them off. They're soooo beautiful.

I'll be doing a 2 part on the Rae Brushes in the next week.

I can't wait to try out the Bourjois lippies. I've had them for so long, but was sick and didn't even open them once.
