Priceline's "I Feel Beautiful" Event + The Goodie Bag

Sunday 10 March 2013

Priceline's beauty truck has been travelling around the country this month, and while it was visiting South Australia this week, today I went along to get pampered.

For a $5 donation you get access into the trailer and into a beautiful world full of make up, hair, nails, massages and health checks.

I ended up getting my nails painted in one of the Revlon ColorStay Longwear Nail Enamels. I've never tried them before and was interested to see how they compare to other polishes. The colour I choose was a copper colour called "Fall Mood." I won't show my nails as all but one nail has been ruined, but here's a swatch from Lawless Lacquer. I really liked the polish, but I'm pretty rough on my hands and I don't paint my nails often, because they ALWAYS are ruined by the end of the day.

There's still 4 more events, so check here to see if they are coming to your town.

I really love these Priceline events. It's a great way of learning more about hair and make up from the MUA or trying out a new look. I also love how they talk about the products they've used on you, so you can learn more about it and possibly find your new holy grail product!

One thing that I missed from this event, was the make up workshops. I've been lucky to go to 3 workshops while I lived in Sydney, and they're FANTASTIC! I always left with new tips and tricks.  Hopefully next time they tour, there will be some beauty workshops.

Another exciting part of Priceline events has to be the goodie bag they hand out. There were some great brands that were in this bag like Palmers, Sukin, Dr LeWinn's, Neutrogena, Sukin and Face Of Australia.

I'm really excited to try the Dr LeWinn eye cream. I've heard some great things about their skincare, but have never tried it before. If I love this, then I'll have to try out their other skincare.

While the goodie bag is mostly skincare focused, there were 3 haircare products in the goodie bag. I used the Toni & Guy Shampoo (and the matching conditioner) on Friday and was SO impressed with it. I'll be buying the full size very soon.

The 2 make up items in the bag are a Face Of Australia eyeliner and a Revlon nail polish. The eyeliner is a gorgeous purple colour. I'm excited to try it as I haven't used their eyeliners before. The Revlon nail polish is also a purple and is gorgeous.

You can never have enough hand creams!!!

I only just bought the new Colgate toothpaste last Monday, and have liked it so far.

I'm really excited to try the Neutrogena lip balm. I haven't used their Naturals range, but it looks fantastic.

There was also a few sample sachets, mostly from Palmers. I love Palmers products so these will be used very soon!

Check out Candice You Review's post about it. She has some great pictures of the truck, and she also has the most amazing hair!!!

Have you been to any of the Priceline events?
XO

PS I also picked up some very new Models Prefer products. Look out for them on the blog very soon!

  5. Wow - you are quick at writing a review! I went on Saturday when they were at Marion and had a great time. I tried out the nailpolish, had a health check, had a skin consultation with Dr LeWinns, massage and had my eye makeup done. I went early so had the opportunity to try everything other than have my hair done. The goodie bag is great and I will be looking forward to trying some of the products that I haven't reviewed yet. My review will be done today sitting in front of the air conditioner!
