Natio "Sheer Delight Blush & Bronzer" Palette

Sunday 14 April 2013

Recently, Natio released a new collection of make up, called "Sheer Delight," which you can see here. I instantly fell in love with the blush bronzer* that's in the collection.

Firstly, I love the packaging. There is nothing more annoying than a product that doesn't have a mirror. My bathroom lights aren't the best so I usually apply my make up in the kitchen since we have 4 big skylights that lets a lot of light in  and it makes it easier if the product has a mirror.

It also has great instructions on the back, which explain simply how to use it.

When I was first sent this, I almost didn't want to use it because it's so pretty!! But since trying it, it's been my everyday go to product! I love that it gives me glowy skin, even though it's cold here in Australia.

There are 5 colours in total, with the bottom two highlighters and the top 3 colours are blush colours. Since I'm fair, I can use the left highlighter as a classic highlighter because it's fair, and the right colour as a bronzer/contour.

To apply this I normally use a contouring blush brush, as on my skin when I swirl it around, it becomes a gorgeous highlighting and contouring blush. It gives me the illusion of better cheekbones. I have also used this with my Natio bronzing brush (photographed) to try an all over glow look. You can read my review on the retractable bronzing brush here

Now onto the swatches. I applied the swatches heavier with my finger, because when using a brush, I had issues with it coming up in photos and showing their true colour.

On the left is the bottom left sided colour in the palette. It's a gorgeous shimmery champagne colour. The right colour is the bottom right sided colour in the palette. This is more of a golden bronze. If you have a darker skintone, you could use this as a highlighter.

I've included two pictures of it, so you get the best idea of colours.

The three colours in these photos are the blush colours. I've swatched them apart, but you can also swirl your brush around over the three colours to apply a different colour.

While they aren't the most pigmented blushes, I adore them. You can work up the colour, but being fair, I find that one sweep works a treat on my skintone!

You can also apply these as eyeshadows!!

You can find Natio stockists here

Have you tried any of the Sheer Delights range?

  4. I nearly bought this just because I thought it was pretty! But honestly, I don't think this would show up on my skin at all, so that's the only reason I refrained.

Great review and I think the shades look very pretty on you! At least there's no danger of accidentally looking orange thanks to overapplication! :)
