Models Prefer "Moisture Lust Lipstick" Review

Friday 12 April 2013

Last month I purchased quite a few Models Prefer products, when Priceline had them on a 3 for 2 special. You can see the MP haul here

One of the products in my haul was one of their new "Moisture Lust Lipsticks." Because I had never purchased a MP lipstick, I decided to just get one to try out. I picked out "Peach Ice Tea."

I love the see though packaging. The name is on the bottom of the packaging. The sticker that the name is on is coloured similarly to the lipstick, so it's easy to find it in your draw or make up bag.

It goes on so smoothly, and has a lip balm type feel. They are quite similar to the Revlon "Lip Butters" in the sense that you feel like you're wearing a lip balm, but it has a glossy lipstick look.

They can be built up to get a bolder look, or applied once for a sheerer colour. They have a slight sheen to them, with makes your lips look fuller and shiny without sparkle.

I was also lucky enough to be sent another lipstick. This one is "Cherry Pie*." This one is a sheer red.

It's a fantastic lipstick for anyone that's scared of red lips. Because honestly, you need to have confidence to pull of a bold red lip, and a red lip can be slightly unnerving. A red lip is noticeable and some days you just don't want to stand out in a sea of nude lips.

The lipstick gives the effect of eating a red ice block that has stained my lips... just glossier. It's perfect for when I want a red lip, but can't be bothered with the upkeep of red lipstick.

I absolutely adore these. I NEED the rest of the colours in my life... NOW!!

There are 8 shades available exclusively at Priceline. They retail for $11.99.

Have you tried these yet?
XO
