These Are A Few Of My Favourite Things... June Favourites 2013

Saturday 29 June 2013

Hi beauties!!

Sorry that I've been MIA this week. My daughter has been sick, so it's been impossible to blog.

But today I'm back with my June favourites!! I haven't done one in quite a while, but I have some great products that I've been using (and loving) and wanted to share with you. There isn't a lot, but these are the products that I've been using day in and day out.

Here's what I've been loving in June...

Skincare

Dr LeWinn's Reversaderm Glycolic CLarifying Cleanser*

I've already written about this cleanser in a First Impressions review (which you can read here). I absolutely love it and in the couple of weeks that I've been using it, I've noticed a difference in my skin texture and congestion that I've had. I'll be doing an updated review in July to let you know more information on the changes that I've noticed since using it.

L'Occitane Essence Sublime Serum*

I only just reviewed this, along with 2 other products from the range recently (see my review here) and I LOVE this serum. It's so luxurious. It has the most amazing floral smell. While it's a gel (it has an almost primer feel), it feels nice on the skin and keeps my skin hydrated.

Avene Thermal Spring Water

This is something that I've used for a while, and have previously reviewed here.   While a lot of people think this is just expensive water in a can, I adore it! I keep mine in the fridge to keep it cool. I love to spray it on and pat it into my skin before applying my serum. Doing it this way supercharges my serum and keeps my skin hydrated.

Biore Warming Anti-Blackhead Cleanser*

This is an oldie but a goodie. I've used Biore on and off for years, and adore the range. This cleanser heats up, and I love to use it before applying a mask onto my skin. I use this once or twice a week to keep my skin feeling soft. I use it similar to an exfoliator because it's slightly rough without irritating my skin.

Make Up

Nude By Nature Ultimate Nude Eyeshadow Palette*

This Nude by Nature eye palette has 3 matte neutral shades. I've never been a big fan of matte eyeshadows, but this palette has changed that. It's the perfect everyday palette for a simple neutral smokey eye.

This was sent to me a while ago, and I've wanted to review this for you because I love it, but am having issues with swatches. The colours just aren't photographing true to life, but I'll try again, so you can see how great the palette is.

Mirenesse Flawless Revolution Anti Aging 3 in 1 24hr Skin Perfector SPF15

I love Mirenesse products and this foundation is fantastic! The 3 in 1 consists of a moisturiser, primer and the foundation. I'm hoping to do a full review on it soon for you.

Arbonne Natural Radiance Mineral Powder Foundation SPF15*

I've already blogged about this mineral foundation here and I'm still having a love affair with it! I use it more as a setting powder, or to provide more coverage when I use a BB cream. It's fantastic!

Innoxa Skin Perfecting Foundation 5 in 1 BB Cream

I've been using this BB cream 4-5 days a week since buying it. It's a great BB cream. It's a great base under my Arbonne Mineral Powder. I've already reviewed this here

Mirenesse Marble Mineral Blush Face Powder in Rose Diamond (5)

This is another item that I want to review, but the photo's don't do the product justice. This mineral blush is insanely pigmented. I ever so lightly tap my brush onto the blush, and it's so pigmented to be enough for both cheeks. It's a gorgeous pink with a glowy effect. I love that I can use this and skip the highlighter for those "I'm running late" days.

Body

Palmers Olive Butter Formula Body Lotion

I received a small sample of this when I went to the Priceline "I Feel Beautiful" event earlier this year. It was love at first use, and I bought the full size recently along with the deluxe travel size concentrated version.

Natio Meditate Hand Cream

This is the second time that I've bought this hand cream. It has a gorgeous Jasmine scent. I use it as a body lotion at night.

Haircare

Pantene Beautiful Lengths Strengthening Shampoo* and Conditioner*

I've been using this for the last 6 weeks, and have been so impressed. It promises to give you longer and stronger hair. I've written a First Impressions review here and will be doing an update soon.

Tresemme Split Remedy Leave-In Conditioning Spray

I bought this a while ago without hearing anything about it. I've been using a spray leave in conditioner for about 10 or so years, and think they are completely underrated. I love that I can add moisture without making my hair oily or heavy, unlike a cream or oil. It's supposed to help with hair breakage, and along with the Pantene Beautiful Lengths, I've noticed a difference in the health of my hair.

L'Oreal EverStrong Deep Replenishing masque

This is another product that I bought without hearing anything about it. I was really surprised at how much I loved this mask. It has a gorgeous coconut smell and is so easy to rinse out. It's sulphate free and left my hair feeling soft and smooth. I would apply this after using the Pantene shampoo and conditioner.

  1. I love the Avene Thermal Spring water too- it is just so refreshing and cooling on the skin, even if it is just "water"! I didn't know that Nude did eyeshadow palettes, I'm loving the neutral shades in the trio you have :)
